Couple Says They Were Forced To Sit Next To Dead Body On Flight

Michell Ring and Jennifer Colin claim they had to sit next to a dead passenger during a long-haul flight from Melbourne to Doha. The pair says a fellow flyer left the bathroom, then collapsed. “Unfortunately the lady couldn’t be saved, which was pretty heartbreaking to watch,” Ring said. The crew then allegedly placed the woman’s body in their row for the remainder of the flight. Ring and Colin say Qatar Airways has not yet offered them any support. “First and foremost our thoughts are with the family of the passenger who sadly passed away on board our flight,” a spokesperson for the airline said. The spokesperson added that they are in the process of contacting passengers. (9 Now Nine)
