Billy McFarland, the founder of the original failed Fyre Fest in 2017, is now planning Fyre Fest 2. “I’m sure many people think I’m crazy for doing this again,” McFarland said. “After years of reflection and now thoughtful planning, the new team and I have amazing plans.” 2,000 tickets went on sale Monday, with packages ranging from $1,400 up to $1.1 million dollars. 10% of profits will go toward the $26 million in restitution McFarland owes. Fyre Fest 2 is currently scheduled to take place May 30th through June 2nd at Isla Mujeres in Mexico. The lineup has yet to be released. Visit fyre.mx for more details. (newser)
