17% of Americans are looking to move outside the United States during the next five years, a Talker Research survey of 2,000 adults found. 2% already have plans in place. Popular destinations in mind include Canada; England; Australia; Ireland; and Costa Rica. “Many professionals, especially younger generations, are questioning whether the traditional ‘American Dream’ is still attainable,” Max Shak of Zapiy said. “In contrast, many countries offer more affordable living, universal healthcare and better work-life balance.” Two-thirds of respondents think American healthcare and education systems are broken.
