Ohio lawmaker Senator Bill DeMora wants to legally define the boneless chicken wing. Last year, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled that even though chicken wings are sometimes advertised as boneless, customers should still expect them to have bones. This ruling came after a customer named Michael Berkheimer choked on a bone found in a “boneless” wing. Senator DeMore is focusing on liability and reasonable expectations. “I don’t know what normal person in the United States doesn’t think boneless means without bones,” DeMora said. If passed, this bill won’t undo the court’s ruling, but will set a precedent for future cases. (Xatakaon)
