You may have heard of President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada, China, and Mexico, which went into effect on Tuesday. Which goods may be impacted? Top imports from Canada include crude oil, passenger cars, vehicle parts, bakery products, and meat products. The United States imported $43.2 billion dollars worth of computers from Mexico in 2024. Medical equipment and engines were also a top import from our southern neighbor. China is a major supplier of cell phones, household goods, toys, textiles, and household appliances. “The consumer will likely see price increases over the next couple of days,” Target CEO Brian Cornell said.
