Men with high-quality sperm tend to live three years longer than men with poorer sperm quality, a study analyzing 78,000 men found. Copenhagen University Hospital researchers discovered this link between reproductive health and overall health. “The lower the semen quality, the lower the life expectancy,” Dr. Lærke Priskorn explained. Interestingly, men with no sperm at all fared somewhere in-between men with poor and excellent sperm quality. Future research could aim to identify biomarkers associated with male risk for health problems. (Study Finds)
