A Good Samaritan took to Reddit’s “Mildly Infuriating” forum to vent: The poster had returned a found wallet to its owner, with all of the contents still inside, and was still accused of stealing. “They yelled at me and insisted that there was more money inside it and accused me of stealing it,” he wrote. “It felt like such a slap in the face.” Many commenters had sympathy, and one thought the owner just didn’t want to pay a reward. “He didn’t want to give you any of his money and didn’t want you to ask, so he made the situation awkward so he could walk away,” one commenter theorized.
