A Russian man in his early 20s suffered kidney failure after doing 2,000 squats on a dare. The patient successfully performed the challenge, but then complained of sore legs and brown urine. Doctors found that the excessive exercise caused his kidneys to function at only 50% capacity. Fortunately, they were able to restore his kidney function. “Strength lies not only in physical achievements but also in the ability to take care of your body,” a hospital press release said. It’s unclear if the man won anything for completing the dare. (Oddity Central)
