A Texas woman who has a winning lottery ticket may never see the $83.5 million-dollar prize. The woman, who has not been publicly identified, purchased the ticket on the app Jackpocket, which lawmakers are trying to ban. “I’m being treated as the bad guy,” the would-be winner said. Jackpocket buys lottery tickets on people’s behalf for a fee, but some Texas lawmakers believe this service is illegal. “We played by all the rules, and we’re still playing by all the rules and we expect that my client should be paid,” attorney Randy Howry said. The Texas Lottery Commission said it would not decide on paying out until its investigation is over. (AOL)
