Are more and more men seeking beard transplants? A beard transplant involves pulling hair from the back of the head and inserting these grafts into the face. Nadeem Khan of Harley Street Hair Clinic says interest in the procedure has tripled since 2020. He’s now doing up to 100 transplants annually. “I think there’s this new form of masculinity where the beard has become important,” Khan said. However, surgeon Greg Williams says it’s not a good option if you lack a lot of “coverage.” “There’s a very high risk that a transplant won’t look natural if you’re talking about doing a full face,” he advised.
