A survey of 2,000 Americans found that 59% mentally check out before they’re officially on vacation. 47% of employed respondents have trouble focusing at work right before their days off. The Talker Research survey commissioned by CheapCaribbean also discovered common burnout symptoms: feeling burnt out (62%); daydreaming about a trip (45%); and getting irritated (44%). “Whether it’s lounging on a beach or exploring a new destination, vacations let you reset and come back with a fresh perspective.” Dana Studebaker of CheapCaribbean said.
