One in 10 young adults schedule “worry time” during the day, a Talker Research survey of 2,000 Americans found. Those who do set aside time to fret say the practice reduces the time they spend worrying overall. Unfortunately, 47% of respondents of all ages believe they’re in a “constant” state of worry. 30% find themselves worrying right before they fall asleep. “When our thoughts are preoccupied with finances, family or our to-do lists, it can be harder to fall asleep and stay asleep,” Brooke Witt of Avocado Green Mattress said. Parents in particular worry about climate change, the world their child is growing up in, and whether their children will have limited options in adulthood. (Talker Research)
