A celebrity turkey named Rosie flew from Roosevelt Island to Manhattan in search of love. The city girl has evaded police capture over the last few days after causing traffic jams and winding up on high-rise balconies. “You get the idea that she’s trying to make herself known to any other turkeys that might be out there. She wants to meet a male turkey,” David Barrett of Manhattan Bird Alert said. Is this just a case of a Carrie looking for her Big?
