Suspects Allegedly Take Joyride At Nova Wild Zoo, Damage Capybara Exhibit

Virginia police are looking for four youths who allegedly broke into NOVA Wildlife Zoo and Wildlife Park Tuesday night. The crew reportedly caused thousands of dollars of damage. Fortunately, no animals or people appear to have been harmed. “Every single utility vehicle that we had basically had some sort of damage, which is where most of the cost associated is,” Elizabeth Kruckow said. “They did hit our capybara exhibit and there’s also minor damage to the park itself.” The suspects are still at large, and the zoo has posted surveillance footage on Instagram and Facebook.
