Study: Your Brain “Embodies” Your Favorite Songs

A University of Connecticut study found that our brains physically sync up with musical sounds, and these patterns can impact our entire body. The paper introduces neural resonance theory, or NRT. NRT explains how music can impact your movements without consciously thinking about them, and why music seems to have universal elements even across cultures.
