Do you take child-rearing advice from your parents? A new survey of 2,000 parents revealed that six in 10 parents chuck their parents’ rulebook. 41% said their mom and dad didn’t focus on mental health growing up, but two-thirds of modern parents take mental health seriously. “We’re witnessing a generational reset in parenting,” Gigi Schweikert of Lightbridge Academy said. “Today’s parents are prioritizing emotional well-being, communication, and confidence just as much as academics or physical activity.” The survey was conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Lightbridge Academy and included the parents of children up to six years old.
