69% of dog owners say their pup has a “dog best friend”, a recent survey commissioned by Camp Bow Wow found. The poll conducted by Talker Research also revealed that 83% of pet parents feel accomplished when their dog is able to make new friends. Among those who say their dog has their own social group, 55% say their up is happier and 48% have noticed improved social skills. “Dogs are just like us — being able to see other dogs and interact with them on a regular basis does so much good for their mental and emotional wellbeing,” Animal Health and Behavioral Expert Erin Askeland said. 63% of respondents think their dogs get to socialize more than they do.
