A recent study suggests that people may be able to identify narcissism or psychopathy by analyzing facial features. Researchers in Turkey conducted three studies involving 880 participants from Turkey and America. The study showed that individuals with ‘dark triad personality traits’ exhibit specific facial characteristics, such as stronger brow ridges, symmetrical faces, and a direct gaze. Participants were able to correctly identify these traits at least 50 to 75 percent of the time from headshots alone. The ability to detect these traits may be an evolutionary adaptation to avoid dangerous individuals. The study highlights the importance of being able to read people’s facial cues in social interactions.(Dailymail)
