According to Capgemini’s 2025 World Wealth Report, the number of millionaires in the U.S. grew by 562,000 in 2024, a 7.6% increase from the previous year. Globally, the millionaire population rose by 2.6%, reaching 23.4 million, with 7.9 million of them residing in the US. While India and Japan saw gains, Europe, Brazil, Mexico, and the Middle East experienced declines. The report also projected that 84% of high-net-worth individuals will inherit wealth by 2040. Additionally, the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, those with at least $30 million in liquid assets, increased by 6.2%, driven by strong stock market performance, particularly in the artificial intelligence sector.
