A recent survey of 2,000 women who gave birth in the last three years revealed that two in three women still feel like they are in a state of recovery post-childbirth. The study, conducted by Talker Research for Intimina, found that recovery encompasses physical, mental, and emotional aspects, with the average respondent taking four weeks to recover physically and six weeks to recover mentally. Surprisingly, more moms reported taking over eight weeks to recover mentally than physically. Many women expressed experiencing unexpected changes post-birth, such as hormonal shifts, fatigue, and weakened pelvic floors. The survey highlights the need for more support and self-care for women during the postpartum period. (Talkerresearch)
