A recent survey of 2,000 American adults revealed that two in three find the anticipation of a trip to be as enjoyable as the trip itself. The study, conducted by Talker Research in partnership with Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard, explored the stages of vacation, with 54% highlighting the destination as the most significant part. While 28% enjoy trip planning the most, 78% agree that returning home is the least enjoyable. Post-vacation blues affect many, with 41% missing the destination and 35% longing for something to look forward to.
