A new survey found more than half of Americans skip lunch to work longer. The poll of 2,000 employed U.S. adults revealed that 55% forgo eating on hectic days to boost productivity. Over 40% rely on reminders to take a midday meal, with women more likely than men to need prompting. While 63% typically eat a substantial lunch, 37% have just snacks or graze instead. A third admit to eating at their desks, especially remote workers. On average, the lunch break lasts only 35 minutes, with 43% multitasking during the time off. Hybrid employees reported the healthiest lunches, even exceeding home-packed meals and those provided by employers. (Talker Research)
