A new survey from Talker Research finds that 80% of Americans care more about the impression they leave on loved ones than on the world, with 54% hoping to make a broader mark. The study of 2,000 adults shows 82% report their priorities shift as they age, focusing more on relationships and making daily life meaningful. Half of respondents have discussed end-of-life wishes with family, though only 35% have a will. Most Americans (58%) have inherited meaningful items, and 59% plan to pass something on to family. Reasons for avoiding end-of-life discussions include discomfort with the topic and believing it’s too early. (Story URL)
