A new study by Ally Bank reveals that 44% of Millennials and Gen Z have skipped social events due to the financial burden. Nearly a quarter of respondents say they fear missing out on friendships and community because of monetary limitations. Despite this, 32% still visit bars or restaurants with friends at least weekly, and 52% regularly see 1-3 close friends. However, only 18% have a firm budget for social activities, while 59% say their financial goals are impacted by spending with friends. The study reveals that younger generations feel anxious about lifestyle differences and struggle to be open about their finances. (Story URL)
