A new survey of 2,000 American parents found nearly one in three parents feel judged by others for what their children eat. Thirty percent said other parents have criticized or looked down on them because of their child’s diet. Parents reported worrying an average of 47 times per day about their child’s well-being, adding up to more than 17,000 worries each year. For parents of younger children, that number rose to 58 daily worries. Most parents said balance and variety are top priorities in their child’s meals. Despite time pressures and picky eating, 82% said it is important their children eat better than they do themselves. (Story URL)
