More than a third of Americans are splitting gift costs with friends or family members to stretch budgets. Millennials lead this trend at 49%, compared to baby boomers at 23%. The survey found 59% of respondents say getting good deals matters more during holidays than any other time. To maximize budgets, shoppers search for low prices (42%), wait for sales (33%), or shop early (30%).
