Madonna is returning to Warner Records for her next studio project, almost 20 years after leaving the label. Warner is where her career began, with major albums like Like a Virgin, Like a Prayer, and Ray of Light.
In a statement, Madonna describes Warner as a true partner during her early years. She credits the label for supporting her creative choices and helping her grow at a time when both her career and the music industry were changing fast.
The new album is expected in 2026. It is described as a follow-up to Confessions on a Dance Floor from 2005, which won a Grammy. For this project, she is working again with Stuart Price, the producer behind the original album.
The working title may be Confessions on a Dance Floor 2. The release will follow a remix album called Veronica Electronica, scheduled for July 25, 2025, released by Maverick, Warner, and Rhino.
