Nickelback has confirmed a North American summer 2020 headlining tour to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the band's multi-platinum fifth album, All The Right Reasons. The Canadian act will perform the LP in its entirety, including its seven hit singles such as “Photograph,” “Rockstar,” “Far Away,” “If Everyone Cared” and “Savin' Me.”
Stone Temple Pilots will join as special guest at all shows on the tour, while Switchfoot and Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown will support on select dates. The lengthy trek kicks off on June 19th in Raleigh, North Carolina and will visit 46 cities across the U.S. and Canada before winding down on October 3rd in Mountain View, California. Tickets go on sale this Thursday (January 23rd) at 10:00 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.
All The Right Reasons was released in October 2005 and debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 album chart. It spent 110 weeks in the Top 30 and has sold over 19 million copies worldwide, including more than eight million in North America alone.
Frontman Chad Kroeger told us a while back that he doesn't know the formula for that kind of success: “I used to think I knew how to help another band achieve success, and I don't think I know how to do that anymore. I mean, that's what every record company is looking for, aren't they? How do we get a band to be as successful as we possibly can. There's just something there about four guys that get together, make music, and they get onstage and they play their hearts out for their fans…sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.”
