Pearl Jam, David Byrne, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Phoenix, NNAMDÏ, Perfume Genius, Jenny Lewis, and the War on Drugs are among the acts who have contributed songs for the second edition of Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy. The project includes 77 tracks and will be available exclusively on Bandcamp on Friday (Oct. 2nd) for only 24 hours. All proceeds go to the Voting Rights Lab.
This second volume of Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy features unreleased songs, covers, remixes, live versions, demos, and more, according to Pitchfork.com.
The first volume was released in September and was also only available for 24 hours. It featured 40 songs from the likes of R.E.M., Hayley Williams, and Death Cab For Cutie.
