The pandemic continues and that means continued use of face masks when out in public. Most people are anxious to put those masks away, but FGL's Tyler Hubbard says that having to wear a face covering has actually been a bit of a blessing.
He tells us: “I like wearing a mask, I’m not gonna lie. It’s been fun walking through Target and feelin’ … you know, not that we’re always getting recognized or that we’re getting hassled, or that it’s anything like that, but you always sort of, after so many years, you sorta feel like people are looking at you even if they’re not. And so, with a mask on, you’re like nobody knows it’s me, I can do whatever. And I don’t know, there is some freedom in that. It’s kind of fun. I was saying that for a while. I’m like man, I hope this pandemic’s over soon, but I hope the mask thing is still normal for a little while cause I’ll probably rock it for a little while, maybe the next year. I’m gonna go party at FGL House with a mask on and just rage.”
Tyler and his FGL partner Brian Kelley sit in the Top 10 on the country charts with “Long Live.”
Tyler's collaboration with Tim McGraw, “Undivided,” is a Top 30 hit and climbing.
