Gloria Allred is accusing Buckingham Palace of using Meghan Markle to distract the public from allegations of abuse against Prince Andrew. The lawyer for victims who accuse the late Jeffrey Epstein’s pal of complicity in human trafficking says that the Palace is issuing public statements Meghan's alleged bullying to divert attention from the real problem.
Allred said: “Allegations about him are far worse than the allegations about Meghan Markle. Prince Andrew was a working royal when he became a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, who was a sexual predator. Prince Andrew is accused of much more than bullying or harassment in the workplace.” She does not represent Virginia Giuffre, who has made the allegations against the prince, but is acting for 20 women who say they were victims of the disgraced US financier.
Allred said: “Why does Buckingham Palace not conduct an investigation and make a public statement condemning Prince Andrew for failing to provide what is requested to those who are seeking the whole truth and justice for the victims of crimes against children? Why has Prince Andrew not been stripped of the royal titles that he enjoys, as has been the case for Meghan and Harry? He has certainly not brought dignity and respect to his work as a royal.”
VIRGINIA GIUFFRE
Giuffre agrees. She shared on Twitter that “The Firm” should “hang their heads in shame” after Meghan and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they accused the royal family of racism and not protecting them.
“Well at the very least we know who #meganandharry are all talking about when they say that #BuckinghamPalace & #TheFirm protected other royals but wouldn’t protect them & their newborn baby #Archie,” Giuffre said in a tweet Tuesday.
