Kim Kardashian has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man who sent an engagement ring to her home.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, Kardashian’s attorney Shawn Holly filed the request for a restraining order Wednesday (June 16th) after the man repeatedly tried to make contact with the reality star.
The court papers claim that the man began stalking Kardashian in February when he “wrongfully” entered the gated community where she lives and was stopped by security guards. The documents state that he told the officer, “I’m here to see Kim, she is the love of my life.” He was “cited for trespassing and taken to a medical center for a mental evaluation hold.”
The individual tried to enter the gated community again on May 26th, claiming he was there to pick her up for a date. Most recently, he sent her an engagement ring and the emergency contraceptive pill Plan B.
According to the documents, the SKIMS founder said she's “fearful” of the man because he has a criminal background. Kardashian explains, “I fear that without a restraining order in place, he will continue to attempt to gain access to my home and will harm me or members of my family if he is able to do so.”
