Tim McGraw was a surprise guest during Alabama's concert at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Saturday (July 3rd). It was the band's second show at the venue this past weekend and it marked the return of their 50th anniversary tour which was delayed last year due to Covid.
Tim joined Alabama to sing “Lady Down on Love.” He spoke about appearing with his musical heroes in a video post on social media saying in part, “It's been 482 days since (there's been) a show at Bridgestone Arena, and it's Alabama. And I'm here. I've never seen Alabama live. I know every song off of every album. I could probably do the whole show. I'm getting to go onstage with them tonight. This is the first time I've ever seen them in concert and I get to go onstage.”
Alabama's 50th anniversary tour runs through February. It features such opening acts as Travis Tritt and Martina McBride.
