Britney Spears‘ motion to move up her next conservatorship hearing has been denied. The ruling means that the singer will still have to wait until September to ask a judge to remove her father, Jamie Spears, from her conservatorship.
According to the new court order obtained by TMZ there was no specific reason given for the judge’s ruling, but it was denied without prejudice, meaning her team can bring it up again.
On Monday, (August 9th) Britney also announced that she will be stepping back from social media, writing, “In a system where I’ve felt completely hopeless for so long, at least I do have a platform to share !!!! As Selena Gomez says it best – The world can be a nasty place … I know it … you know it … kill them with kindness !!! Unfortunately the news has been pretty nasty saying horrible and mean lies about me so I’m gonna post a little less from now on”
