MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN HIT-AND-RUN DEATH OF NICKI MINAJ'S DAD: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charles Polevish, who is accused of hitting Nicki Minaj's dad Robert Maraj with his vehicle in 2021, resulting in his death, and fleeing the scene, has pleaded guilty. Polevich is facing up to seven years in prison on the felony charge, but he might not receive that exact sentence. The judge committed to no more than one year in prison, in addition to community service and the suspension of his driver's license.
PETE DAVIDSON HOPES KANYE WEST PULLS A 'MRS. DOUBTFIRE': During Pete Davidson's first standup comedy show in three years, which can be seen on Netflix, the comedian joked that Kanye West would pull a Mrs. Doubtfire as Davidson date's Ye's ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He said during his Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival special, “Does anybody else secretly hope that, like, Kanye pulls like a Mrs. Doubtfire? I come home one day and they’re like, this is the new housekeeper. And, he’s like, ‘What’s up fam?'” In the 1993 film, late actor-comedian Robin Williams comes into his kids' life following a divorce from their mother, dressed as a woman, playing the role of their nanny and housekeeper.
RODDY RICCH FORGETS LYRICS TO 'THE BOX' DURING LIVE PERFORMANCE: A TikTok video of Roddy Ricch forgetting the lyrics to his hit song “The Box” has gone viral online. In the clip, Roddy forgot the first few lines of the first verse then paused for a second, turned around and started laughing. He also appeared to gesture to his DJ that he can't hear the music in his earpiece. Roddy then began rapping the song, “N***a try to get me for my water/I'll lay his a** down, on my son, on my daughter/I had the Draco with me, Dwayne Carter/Lotta n***as out here playin', ain't ballin'.”
KANYE WEST RELEASES 'LIFE OF THE PARTY' MUSIC VIDEO: Kanye West has released the music video for his Donda deluxe track, “Life of the Party” with André 3000. The song initially leaked before being added to the deluxe of Ye's most recent album. This is the third video to arrive from the album.
PUSHA T SAYS HE'S BANNED FROM CANADA: During a recent interview on the Drink Champs podcast, Pusha T revealed that he's banned from Canada. Following Pusha's show at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto in 2018 where a fight broke out, he isn't allowed back into the country. Many people tried to throw beer at Push and rush the stage. On being banned, he explained, “I’m banned from Canada. I can’t get back over there. I ain’t allowed to go back over there.”
SNOOP DOGG'S SON'S CAR STOLEN: According to TMZ, Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus' car was recently stolen in L.A. The LAPD told the outlet that Broadus' 2022 BMW X6 was taken and a tracking company located it, passed the info to the LAPD and the cops went to retrieve the car. The car jacker was allegedly taken into custody.
