Reports say that Tory Lanez has been placed on house arrest after a judge ruled that he violated the terms of his bail following an alleged altercation with singer August Alsina last month. According to TMZ, a Los Angeles judge made the ruling yesterday (October 26th) during a hearing Tory attended in relation to his assault case involving Megan Thee Stallion.
Tory was released from police custody on bail back in April, and was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Megan. He was also ordered to stay out of any legal trouble.
Lanez reportedly violated those terms when he allegedly attacked Alsina. Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott urged the judge to order Lanez into custody without bail until the start of his trial.
According to CBS News, the prosector believes Tory has “shown such a flagrant disregard for the court’s orders,” despite his lawyer arguing that there is no evidence that the incident with Alsina even occurred.
Lanez will now be on house arrest until Nov. 28th.
