Cardi B took to Twitter to let fans know that although things look like they are back to normal on her social media pages after the death of Takeoff, but she and Offset are having a hard time.
She said via Twitter Notes, "It has been a couple of weeks and I feel like a lot of people are starting to feel comfortable trying to be funny and say slick sh*t." " . . . We're living our lives normally but deep down inside, our hearts are so heavy. I feel like if I talk about how we really feel . . . yall will start saying 'oh sympathy, oh sympathy."
She continued, "No lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, trying to make him smile. . . ."
She added, We not in the mood to be f*cking playing around with y'all. Deada**. I will deada** kill y'all. Stop f*cking playing."
Cardi also went back and forth with comedian Nicole Arbour. Arbour said that Offset is recording new music "shooting people and shooting places up" weeks after Takeoff's death.
She was referencing a new Offset snippet that Cardi had posted to her Instagram Stories where 'Set is dressed up as the Joker, rapping along to the song's lyrics, "Catch a body broad day/Shoot 'em in the hallway."
Arbour tweeted, "Man… few weeks after his cousin was murdered over a dice game… Offset’s making new music about shooting people and shooting places up. Not a single thing was learned."
Cardi fired back, "He hasn't even been to a studio since Take died so wtf are you talking about?" After going back and forth with Arbour, she later tweeted,"The fact you trying to use the death of some1 I love to get clout is crazy …..I’m not going to do none of that ….I’m just going to pray for you."
