Researchers from the University of York used artificial intelligence to predict tomorrow’s favorite dishes. Experts asked Midjourney to create what dinner could look like as we move toward more sustainable meals. The menu of 2054 includes lab-grown steaks, cricket salad, and spaghetti and “meatballs” made out of aquatic plants. These meals are filled with protein and have lower carbon footprints. “The last 30 years we have seen scientific leaps into more sustainable produce which were unimaginable to most back in 1994,” Bob Doherty of Fix Our Food said.
