A study from the University of Florida found that men and women tend to rate their own attractiveness accurately, and participants tended to date and marry within their “league” as far as looks are concerned. Researchers analyzed data from nearly 1,300 straight couples and found that not only do couples tend to be fairly equally matched when it comes to beauty, but that men become better at “ranking” themselves as they get older. “Men might be getting more realistic,” Gregory Webster, Ph.D., said. “Nobody’s usually getting more attractive over time.” (Science Daily)
