42% of Americans love chatting about great bargains they’ve found, a survey of 2,000 adults found. About 80% of respondents would want to tell other people where they can find the best deal, too. The average American spends about 62 minutes shopping online every week, which adds up to 54 hours per year. Shoppers have downloaded an app or browser extension, browsed from multiple devices, and even waited in line for hours to get a good deal. “American consumers live busy lifestyles and online shopping has become a way of life,” Anthony Merola of Citi said. “Today’s shopping tools, including browser extensions, have become a go-to resource.” (swnsdigital)
