Megan Thee Stallion has revealed that she plans to release her debut album Suga tomorrow (March 6th). As previously reported, the rapper took to social media a few days ago to reveal that her record label 1501 was trying stop her from releasing music because she asked to negotiate her recording contract. She filed a lawsuit and got a restraining order against the label earlie this week, allowing her to release new music. 1501 went to court yesterday (March 4th) to file a motion to dissolve the temporary restraining order and to stop the release of the project.
According to TMZ, in legal docs, Carl Crawford of 1501 said that Megan's contract stipulates all disputes between her and the label must be handled in arbitration. Crawford also claimed that Megan is guilty of booking several gigs without the label's approval. The label has also claimed that Megan's contract states that she can't drop music without its approval.
