By analyzing 1.7 million English-language X posts, formerly known as Tweets, WordTips found which states swear the most. Overall, 41.6 out of every 1,000 American posts contain a swear word. Maryland uses curses the most, with 66.3 posts per 1,000 containing a swear word. South Dakota keeps it clean with only 21 out of 1,000 posts using offensive language.
