Scientists of the California Institute of Technology have created a “smart mask” that analyzes your breath. The EBCare mask can detect changes in ammonia levels, spikes in alcohol, and more. The mask could be useful for patients with asthma, COPD, and those recovering from COVID-19. “We want to expand this technology to incorporate different markers related to various health conditions,” researcher Wei Gao said. “This is a foundation for creating a mask that functions as a versatile general health–monitoring platform.” (Study Finds)
