A gun stored in an oven fired five times after being overheated, according to Virginia authorities. Officials say someone turned the oven on while the gun was inside. “Please do not store guns or anything else in your oven,” Chesterfield Fire and EMS said in a Facebook post. “Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the situation could have turned out much differently.” Commenters had more questions for authorities. “What temp was the oven sent to?” one asked. “How do you turn that claim in to the insurance company?” another said.
