Who controls the finances in the relationship? According to a recent University of Essex study, men still have more bargaining power in their households. In the average Australian home, men have 60% of the bargaining power. Men in the United States have 61%, and men in Germany have 69%. However, men also tend to trade more often and underperform compared to their female counterparts.
