69% of Americans are stressed about the election, an American Psychological Association survey found. The Stress in America poll also discovered that 77% of respondents are worried about the future of the nation. 20% even limit time spent with family members who hold different political views. “For nearly a decade, people have faced a political climate that is highly charged, which has led to the erosion of civil discourse and strained our relationships,” American Psychological Association CEO Arthur Evans Jr. said. 77% of those polled say they will vote in the 2024 presidential election.
