Two Sheep Rescued From Quicksand

A rescue team in England responded to a report of sheep stuck in Morecambe bay. Rescuers discovered two animals had been trapped in quicksand “for several hours, as the sand had set like concrete around them.” Crews from Grange and Flookburgh used inflatable walkways to reach the sheep and saved them just before high tide rolled in. The animals were then safely returned to their owner. (UPI)
