Blogger Ben Schlappig posted a scathing review of an Egyptian airport titled: Cairo Airport: Is There A Worse Major Airport? To his surprise, Egypt’s Civil Aviation Ministry responded with a 1,100-word post. The ministry reviewed security footage and concluded that Schlappig posted pictures of a bathroom he didn’t use and “unreasonably” visited “two lounges before a single flight.” Schlappig’s main criticisms were that employees kept requesting tips and the airport was disorganized. As for Egypt’s response, the blogger said it was “the most bizarre response I’ve ever seen from a government.” (newser)
