Airbus is working on a “double decker” style plane seating arrangement so customers have more leg room…but some passengers are calling the lower level the “fart zone.” The design features one row of passengers on a raised platform, and another row behind them on the plane floor. While lower-level passengers would be able to spread out more, social media users note that those seated on the lower level are behind the rear-ends of those on the upper level. “Last thing I want when flying is being stuck in someone’s fart zone,” someone on Threads posted. CEO of Chaise Lounge Alejandro Núñez Vicente dismissed these concerns. “Gas in general doesn’t go through solid objects like seat cushions, seat covers and plastic shells,” he said. (dailymail.co.uk)
