WalletHub’s latest study ranks California as the most fun state in 2025, scoring 66.89 out of 100. It leads in restaurants, amusement parks, movie theaters, fitness centers, and attractions per capita. California also ranks high for nightlife, with many performing arts venues and music festivals. Despite high beer prices, it’s the least expensive state for wine. Florida and Nevada follow, with Illinois and New York completing the top five. West Virginia ranks last, scoring 19.18, with poor entertainment and nightlife options. Rhode Island, Delaware, Arkansas, and Mississippi also rank low. Las Vegas tops the list of most fun U.S. cities, noted for its abundant attractions, restaurants, spas, sports venues, festivals, and outdoor activities. (Men’s Journal)
